It has been studied, researched and proven, but I could have told you easily anyway: a person watching his or her weight is (to a lesser or a higher degree) obsessed with food. I'm no exception, so this week's TT is all about food! :-)

I like my chocolate the opposite to you - dark and bitter. Either Green and Blacks or Hotel Chocolate if it's bought or really nice hand made ones.
ReplyDeleteFood! Yes, I love most of that. And,we are about to go meet our son and take him out for his birthday today. AND, I'm hungry! Hope they have some fresh strawberries!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TT
I love milk chocolate... but I can't stand white. Eel!? eek! Never had it... I shouldn't say... lol
ReplyDeleteSelena
ice cream is my favorite...
ReplyDeleteMines up! Happy TT
Oh my! YES!! I prefer DARK chocolate, but ANY chocolate is heaven. My TT is also posted.
ReplyDeleteNow you've gone and made me hungry too! LOL! Happy TT, and have a great rest of the week .. :)
ReplyDeleteYour list made me hungry! Particularly for mint chocolate chip ice cream. I don't think I've ever had eel, but since I'm 100% with you on the mussels, your recommendation gives me the courage to try it.
ReplyDeleteSince I did never heard the word mussels in english before university, one of the guys in my dorm came to ask if we wanted some and I mistook it for muscles!!! pretty funny situation!!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!!
Eel?! Really? I've never eaten one, but I have caught one fishing and dammit it was disgusting looking.
ReplyDeleteYum! Great list. You just made me hungry for some Nachos with cheese dip.
ReplyDeleteAnd chocolate? Any time. Any where. *grin* I love it. Especially dark chocolate and chocolate with nuts.
Happy TT! I'm up.
Ice cream...yum!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT, Mines up!

Mmmmm.... fooooddddd...... And that's all I have to say about that!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm cheese!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the dark and bitter chocolate like impworks. Today I had some 87% cocoa. YUM.
Ooooh, I was with you right up to the smoked eel. Eeewww! But I LOVE chocolate; the darker the better. Happy TTing!
ReplyDeleteDK
You're hungry? I just read the list, got hungry, lost my appetite (eels, ew), but then regained my appetite.
ReplyDeleteI have been doing weight watchers, so most anything salty appeals to me. good luck
I love ice cream and raw veggies/fruit too! Not usually together though... :)
ReplyDeleteI like most of the things on your list (chocolate, ice cream...), but EEL?!?!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT :-)
Yeah not keen on eel myself...interesting list though! I must try that cheese.
ReplyDeleteI agree about chicken. I could have it every day, and often do!
ReplyDeleteOh good lord! I was starting a diet tomorrow. :( lol
ReplyDeleteYummy list except for the smoked eel :)
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
I agree with most on your list with the exception of about four of them. I bet you cannot guess which ones? Haha!
ReplyDeleteI with you all the way! I could possible forsake all other goodies if I could have chocolate every day! :) Great TT!
ReplyDeleteMussels are something I just can't manage to eat. I grew up on the coast where they were plentiful and every once in a while I make an attempt to try eating them (they say our tastes change as we age) but to date, I've had no success. Probably a good thing since I don't live anywhere near the coast these days and it's hard enough to keep me in lobster ;)
ReplyDeleteI basically love everything on your list!!!
ReplyDeleteit's past midnite here and your list just made me hungry!!! now i'm starving for some pizza!!! huh!!! what a great idea for this week's T13 list!!!
ReplyDeleteDid anyone say Chocolate and Icecream? Two of my essential food groups - except funnily enough I don't like Chocolate icecream! Happy TT
ReplyDeleteMmmmm.... good thing I ate lunch before visiting your TT! My weaknesses are dark chocolate and buttered popcorn. Or tortilla chips with guacamole.
ReplyDeleteFortunately, I also love healthy food like fruits and vegetables, but they're good for me, so I don't consider them weaknesses. :)
OH YUMMY food! I love chocolate. I got one up. It is @ Thursday 13
ReplyDeleteGreat. Now I'm hunger. lol
ReplyDeleteYum! I am all about food, especially the dark chocolate!
ReplyDeletesmoked eel, huh? Well, i can't diss something i've never tried. Dark dark dark chocolate.yum.
ReplyDeleteI'm all about Ben & Jerry's! lol!! I think my favorite is the chocolate with brownie pieces...can't think of the name right now. Don't know about the smoked eel though...
ReplyDeleteLove you list and especially #1!
ReplyDeleteYummy! I just got back from the gym and now I want to eat your list!! I had some smoked eel once...not sure if I liked it...but I will try anything once! I'm guessing "Acid Drops" are sour candies? My son loves those, me not so much. Chicken and veggies...right on! I eat chicken everyday too, and it was the reason I stopped being a vegitarian!
ReplyDeleteGreat List
Happy TT
Now I'm STARVING!! I'll take everything but the licorice :)
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
I'm with you on the chocolate. I can't get enough of it.
ReplyDeleteI have weakness for chocolates! And all the other stuff you listed except for smoke eels..ew!
ReplyDeleteNow your list is making me hungry and I haven't eaten anything yet LOL! Happy T13! Hope you have a nice Mother's Day weekend!
what is old cheese? And smoked eel sounds um yucky
ReplyDeleteEwww I despise liquorice but my husband misses it so badly! You can't get hard liquorice around here. mmm Now I want some yummy milk chocolate!
ReplyDeleteYum! Some of those sound delicious. Of course, as a cat, I can't have chocolate. My human mom, however, loves both white and very dark chocolate.
ReplyDeleteFoie gras...an expensive and guilty pleasure...you can't talk about your love of it with just anyone. It's the new veal in terms of the terrible things that are done with the ducks to obtain this sinfully delicious treat. But, come on, ducks have been pooping on my sidwalk forever...surely they are due a little payback!
ReplyDeleteYum Yum.. now i'm hungry also :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday to you.
Welll....I was with you till you hit the eel! And you are right...I don't think about food until I'm on a diet!
ReplyDeletesmoked eel? and with skin? ewww but I like most of the rest of your list. Great list! Hope you visit my TT!
ReplyDeletehttp://mitchypoo777.blogspot.com
I love dark chocolate, specifically Vosges, the salty one. YUM! Great ilst :-)
ReplyDeleteStick to #13 and dream about the rest. I'm about food this week, too. Road trip food. you know-- calorie free goodness! (not)
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
Mmmmm...smoked eel sounds purdy good! We did not see fishy flakes or Tuna Temptation snacks on yer list. We also like crickets and an occasional earthworm.
ReplyDeleteIce cream, ice cream, I am FOR that! I have never heard of acid drops though.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everything except the eel. I don't think I could be tempted to even try it. I know, I know, I don't know what I'm missing, right?
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
Jessica The Rock Chick
I am also a hungry thirsty thirteener! Sometimes it's good to have food on your mind rather than in your mouth.
ReplyDeleteYou can see my 13 here!
I definitely go for #1 and #13. Maybe chocolate covered carrots would be good.
ReplyDeleteMy 13 is up. http://collectingmythoughts.blogspot.com/2007/05/thursday-thirteen-my-book-house.html
Oooh I love muscles! I think it has to do with the fact I was raised on th east coast of Canada and they are very popular and easy to catch.
ReplyDeleteIce cream and pop corn are favourites of mine too.
Now I'm hungry!
