When I'm stressed I like to watch my cats, it calms me down. Play with them, stroke them... or just looking at them while they are sleeping or washing themselves. Irresistable to me is when they start yawning; before I know it, I'm joining in! Who can resist this:

It's all your fault when I am sitting here now with the mouth big open, lol ! Suddenly I feel tired ! I have to say that around me everybody is sleeping husband included ! and it's 3 pm ! I feel the same as you, when I am stressed or worried or bothered I watch my little cat family and feel immediately better. Little Rosie purrs while sleeping between my laptop and my (Pamela Anderson) bosom.

Now; our six cats are big and fats!
Three of them live in another house in the country (since this friday!) we just didnt see them happy in our apartament; they couldn go to explore lke male cats likes... that is also our house so we visit them on the weekends.
I also leave you this recent image from my female cat AÑAS (wich means FOX); taken on 07.07.07 (thats wared ja! i never took a picture like that; so perfect! for my standars of course :D )

Kitty yawns are so very expressive -- I mostly have been the recipient of them when I have awakened the cat from a very deep sleep. I have been lucky to have a camera with me sometimes when I've done that so I have captured a few yawns, but not as many as I would have liked to.
ReplyDeleteCats also calm me and reduce stress. I don't know what I'd do without them.
