TT #72: in my fridge

Thirteen things in my refrigerator

Too late for Cats on Tuesday, too busy to blog...
Sorry, this is a "quickie" of a TT!

  • Old IJmuiden cheese - actually this is a special edition of my favourite Old Amsterdam cheese
  • fresh milk - half-fat, tastier than low-fat and healthier than full-fat
  • winter carrots - extra big carrots, used as a late-night snack
  • freshly squeezed kiwi-juice - hurray for Jack La Lanne's Power Juicer!
  • freshly squeezed Granny Smith apple juice - again the power juicer, yummy!
  • squeeze-bottles - ketchup, mayonaise, currygew├╝rz, garlic sauce
  • new-laid eggs - free-range eggs of course
  • Yakult Light - Yakult is a probiotic drink, good bacteria that supplement the natural bacteria in your gut; it works for me, and I like the taste very much!
  • pickles - gherkins, pearl onions, etc. and pickled herring
  • salad dressing - based on yoghurt
  • butter products: spread, oils, margarine, etc.
  • sandwich filling: ham, chicken, smoke-dried beef, roast beef, etc.

... and lots more! :-)

  1. You have some good stuff in there, although, I do not know about the bacteria! :)

  2. Your fridge beats my fridge any day. Now I want a power juicer!

  3. I'll have to remember this one for the future...
Can I have some of the cheese please?

  4. We have chicken in our fridge too, but that's all we have in common!

  5. Gosh, I love how fresh the food in your refrigerator is! Even here in Denver, Colorado, it's nearly impossible to get that kind of food. We have a milk man for simi-fresh milk.

Do you keep hens? I've always wanted to do that.... But bees are probably going to be it for me.

    Happy TT, Tink! :)

  6. You have some yummy stuff in there...I wish I could have the Coke Zero. Yum!

  7. I'm impressed. Mine is a wreck.

    The Pink Flamingo

  8. If I were doing mine, there would have to be one "HOLY ^*%! What in the world is that?"

    Happy TT.

  9. HEy you robbed me!

Nice Thursday List! Come check out some games on my list!

  10. Most of the things I have in my fridge too except Coca (I hate it) and I drink Actimel every morning.

  11. It's not nice to tease someone that you have yogurt based salad dressing and not supply a recipe. Cough, cough.

I'm not sure about the juicer. I've thought about one, but never taken the plunge. Maybe I should?

You are a very healthy eater.

  12. hooray for juicing and free range chickens

  13. Your fridge sounds a lot healthier than mine! I blame the 3 males I share the house with. :)

  14. The granny smith apple juice sounds yummy.

  15. I love this list...what a great one...I cans ee your fridge now...I might use this idea sometime.

    Hi tinkerbell thinkingof you!

  19. I'm going to pin this on you, Tink: as I'm reading your list, the Tour Manager announced that dinner's ready.

You are my new good luck charm; I'm famished!

  20. kiwi juice sounds awesome! i have three whole kiwis in my refrigerator.

  21. Never tasted Old IJmuiden cheese but it sounds a bit like Old Norwegian cheese and if so it's just lovely. Smell a bit odd, but taste marvels.

  22. Yours has more interesting things than mine. Perhaps you should participate in “fridge Fridays” ???
    Hugs and blessings,
