The cardiologist just called. There was nothing wrong with my 48 hours ECG or any of the other tests. My basic heartrate is somewhat higher than average, but no problems, no arrhythmia, nothing out of the ordinary. Now I'm torn between being happy (nothing wrong, yay!) and feeling disappointed with this unsatisfactory answer (I feel lousy, what IS wrong than, damn it?!). The heart specialist will report to my GP and that's it for now. I feel a bit numb...

  1. My hubby goes through the same thing with A-Fib, sometimes its normal and sometimes its not and yes he finds it very uncomfortable too. Hopefully they can come up with some sort of treatment. Hubby was on tons of pills after he had his heart cardioverted into normal rhythm and the pills actually made him feel worse. Hope you get some answers and feel better soon!

  2. Have you ever had a sleep study test for sleep apnea? If not, I would recommend trying that.
